My original intention with this blog was to share the wisdom I have picked up over the years in my unending pursuit of a happy, healthy life that is as harmonious with Nature as possible. Many of my posts have remained true to that.
You will find posts on vegetarianism, natural healthy solutions, green living, cooking with organic produce, natural homemade beauty remedies, plants and herbs. You will also discover earth-friendly DIYs and craft projects.
I veered slightly into new territory by my second post. The day after I launched this blog, my life changed dramatically when I fell down a large public staircase and suffered serious facial trauma. I wrote about those early experiences as well as my ongoing dental reconstruction in a series of posts called, Being (a) Patient.
I started a month-long challenge in August of 2015 when I charged myself with writing a new post every day. Various topics were covered throughout the month but the over-arching intention was to develop more discipline. So, weekly check-in posts mark my struggle and evolution throughout the process. I took a few more detours in 2016 prompted by recent events such as the US Presidential Race and the violence that has been dividing the United States. A Naturally Healthy and Happy Life isn’t separated from the perils of the world outside.
